Skip to content WolfHaven Hair is a vision brought to life by Marcus and Becca — two hair professionals who combined their artistry, passion, and love for community to create an inclusive salon on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles.
Marcus’ hair journey began after dabbling in fields such as tattooing and piercing but was turned off by the state of the industry. After a friend had suggested he try doing hair he looked into it and got enrolled in a barber and beauty school in Long Beach, California. His love for the craft soon began as he took to it like a fish to water. Not too long after graduating and getting his license he began working with a team and freelancing on various film and tv projects while building his clientele in West Hollywood, California. He has also furthered his education continuously with high end brands such as Hattori Hanzo, Kevin Murphy and Eleven.
Becca’s hair journey began in highschool when she was a teenage punk and had a lot of DIY hair practice with her friends. After mastering a classic mohawk or early 2000’s scene kid hair she considered a career in professional hairstyling. She enrolled in Culver City Beauty Academy at 18 years old but after 5 months was in a motorcycle accident and was forced to drop out. Devastated, she began working as a salon receptionist at TRIM in Venice, California. After apprenticing a master stylist she obtained her hair license and off she went. Becca had developed a love for lived-in balayage, effortlessly chic cuts and bold colors. She has also taken further education in Hattori Hanzo, Kevin Murphy, Davines, and eleven.
Our journey as a couple began about fifteen years ago, when we met through mutual friends. We hit it off, but neither of us were emotionally mature enough to be serious. Fast forward to 2023, where we happened to run into each other on a night out with one of the same mutual friends from prior. It was love at 2nd sight. After realizing we both now worked in the same field and shared a passion for the art of hair and hairstyling it was only inevitable that we would open a studio together. Outside of the salon we both also share a love of music, fun with friends, horror movies, camping, motorcycles and food.
